Can I meet my DJ before I decide to hire him?

 Yes, we are happy to arrange a meeting between you and your prospective DJ prior to making any decisions.


Will my DJ wear a tuxedo?

 Yes, your DJ will wear whatever you request.


Do you bring backup equipment?

 Yes, our DJs come prepared for emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.


Do you have backup DJs in case of an emergency?

Yes, you can rest assured that you will definitely have a DJ on the day of your event.


Do you play requests?

 Yes, in addition to the playlist you provide us, we carry many other songs from many different genres.


Can we exclude songs and artists we don't want to hear at our event?

 Absolutely, we want you to feel comfortable with the music you will be enjoying during your event, therefore we will exclude any songs or artists you tell us.


Can we bring some of our CDs for you to play?

Yes, we can play your cds if we don't already have what you want. 


Do you also act as emcee?

 Yes, your DJ will make sure your guests enjoy themselves on the dance floor and all the appropriate announcements are made.


Do you provide wireless mics?

 Yes, we can provide extra mics as needed for events such as toasts, speeches, singing, etc..


Can you put a microphone on our officiant?

 Yes.


Will my DJ take breaks?

 No, we do not take breaks.


Can you provide a separate sound system for the ceremony?

 Yes.


How much time do you need to setup and break down your equipment?

 We will need access to the space 2 hours prior to the event for setup and sound check and 1 hour to break down our equipment.


What will you be bringing to the event?

 In the contract we will provide a list of the items we will be bringing with us.


What do you need me to provide?

 In the contract, you will be given a list of anything you may need to provide, if anything.


Can I have a smoke machine at my event?

 Yes, if your venue says that it is possible and if they have smoke detectors. Please check with them before requesting as the smoke machine has an additional cost.


When is the money due for my event?

A 50% deposit is due at the time of signing the contract. The balance is due on the day of the event before the event begins. See contract for more specific details. 


How can I pay for my event?

 5 Alive Production, Inc. accepts mastercard/visa, cash, check, money order. See contract for details on check and money order payments.
